Quail chicks when newly hatched are tiny, much smaller than chickens.

They are crazy little creatures, very active during daylight hours and are great fun to watch. I often watch them instead of the TV.

Quail are thirsty at the best of times but during the recent hot weather our young quail, 4 weeks old, have taken to having a dip in their water trough.
