Between us we have keeping small numbers of quail for over 10 years alongside our chickens, their eggs being enjoyed by friends, family and some local customers in our village.
Early 2025
I retired a couple of years ago and now have time on my hands so we thought that we could extend access to our little protein packed, beautiful eggs to a wider area.
It has taken a year or so to build up our flocks of quail to size where we have sufficient surplus eggs to satisfy initial demand and to get ourselves organised to meet the legal requirements for packaging and labelling.
We are registered with the Animal and Plant Health Agency (APHA) and comply with all the requirements regarding the prevention of avian flu in the UK.
